We have two Primary 3 classes.
Miss Robinson's class is in Room 1.
Mrs Warke's class is in Room 2.
Mrs Liberante and Mrs Westerhuis work in Room 2 with Mrs Warke.
Mrs Sterritt and Miss Chambers work in Room 1 with Miss Robinson.
WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING IN P3?
Thank you very much to everyone who came along to our Nursery - P3 Art Exhibition on 5 March 2010. It was lovely to see so many people and was a great opportunity to display a range of artistic work. 166 pictures were purchased and we were able to raise £664 for our school funds.
Some of our topics for April and May 2010 will include:
Mathematics and Numeracy
- Number: learning the number stories for 18,19 and 20 and recalling them accurately, counting in 2's, 5's and 10's forwards and backwards up to and beyond 100, recognizing odd and even numbers
- Tens and Units: Addition involving carrying over a ten, subtraction involving borrowing a ten
- Money - making totals up to and over £1, receiving change within 50p and £1
- Time - Quarter past and quarter to including digital time
