P5 – Mrs Chambers & Miss Ross

We do recorder on Tuesday afternoons.

Topic Work

Our new topic this term will be “Early Man”

Numeracy

We will be concentrating on 3D shapes , decimal place, bar charts, weights  and angles.

Homework

We will have a written homework four times a week , normally two literacy and two numeracy homeworks, as well as our nightly reading and spellings.

Trip to Mount Stewart

The P5′s really enjoyed their trip to Mount Stewart.  It was lots of  fun as well as being a very informative day.  We started with a short play inside Mount Stewart House that explained the difference between deciduous and evergreen trees.  We then spilt up into groups for a walk around the grounds where we learnt about various kinds of trees.  We were very lucky with the weather and even spotted a red squirrel too!
