Our school community is made up of over 450 children, their families and everyone who works here. We believe that the most important resource we have in Stranmillis is our children. We have created a bright, lively and purposeful environment in which they can grow and flourish. As a learning community we place great importance upon the uniqueness of each person here and the contribution which we can all make.
We believe that learning is a life-long journey for everyone and that, regardless of their age, everyone in Stranmillis is 'always learning together'. Every day is a learning opportunity for adults and children alike and we all have a responsibility to seize those opportunities and make the most of them. We believe we have created a school ethos which is conducive to learning and in which learners are comfortable and happy.
The prime purpose of Stranmillis is to serve the needs of our children and to equip them with the skills, knowledge and disposition to be happy members of their community who contribute in a positive and creative way.
